About the event
Uckfield Heritage are joining with Uckfield Bonfire and Carnival Society to present a look at life in Saxon Sussex in Bridge Cottage on Saturday 17th May. It is a chance to get a better view of the costumes you may have seen by torchlight on Carnival day and learn more about the history of this fascinating period from the end of Roman Britain until 1066 and the Battle of Hastings.
