Ghost Stories

I have been running ghost walks in Pevensey for the last 36 years and also Lewes, Alfriston and other Sussex locations, published 13 books, many on local history. Sussex has a rich history of ghosts through spectral dogs, smugglers, white ladies, monks, battles, poltergeists, railways and at least one ghost you would never want to see as catching sight of it means you are doomed. As the nights draw in maybe as Mark Anthony Lower the Sussex Historian said ‘ round every corner is a spectral dog and under every bridge a headless lady works on a spinning wheel’ - come and find out more about some of the things which lurk in the shadows ! This event will take place downstairs in front of the lit inglenook fireplace...try and spot some witches marks whilst you're there!
